Yes!! I know we are crazy!!!
We went to the ZOO in 100 degree HOT Blazing Sun Summer!!
But it really was a BLAST!!! Every time Little E said.."Ohhhhh, Look at the Monkeys!!!!", it made all of the Heat, Whining, and Complaining, totally worth it....He was the most EXCITED out of all of the kids...
MY GOSH....
My first Bloggy award is from Mom's Fortress of Solitude, she awarded me the Humane Award. If she would have seen my children throwing Popcorn and Chex mix at the animals yesterday...I am I would not have been awarded this lovely award!!!

we LOVE the zoo. we actually got memberships as a baby shower gift but we've been too scared to go lately with this RIDICULOUS heat! you're braver than we are! we were talking about going next weekend...but we'll be there when it opens and leave by 10am. haha

I can't wait to take my kids to the zoo this summer....I have a feeling they'll love it. It's definitely worth wilting in the heat to see your kids that excited, right?
