I love the Dove ad - it really speaks volumes! It's no wonder women and girls today don't like themselves! It's hard competing with the impossible!
As for the Cougartown trailer. It's hard to take Courtney Cox with her perfectly fit, looking 23, gorgeous body seriously. Make her struggling to make ends meet, with cellulite, 50 extra lbs of baby weight, wrinkles, bad hair, and stretch marks and maybe I could relate! I just don't see what she's complaining about otherwise. That's my moody and honest opinion :)
I loved the clip you put up. I saw the ads for this on tv but I missed the show. Is there a regular time it comes on and day?
Finally . . . a brutally honest depiction of 'mature' women! I'm totally addicted!
I'm just waiting for their depiction of my shocking encounter. Courtney putting on her make-up in the bathroom mirror, and horrifically reacting to a 1-inch long black hair attached to her chin!
I remember thinking, "Oh great! One wart short of changing my name to Hagatha!"
It's sooo true. I loved that opening. We, as women, are much too hard on ourselves. I know I am especially.
You would think that at 30 I would be happy with myself and how I look, but when you see "perfection" all around you it's a little hard sometimes.
